THE PAYMENT AND TERMS & CONDITIONS FOR RENTING BIKE IS AS FOLLOWING :
1. ACCESSORIES: We provide the motorcycle with strong luggage racks to accommodate your rucksacks, which can be tied with bungges on to these carriers.
These luggage carriers have fittings in which you can put 2, 5 liters jerry cans for extra petrol.
2. BACK UP TOOLS AND SPARE PARTS: To make your ride smooth, we will provide a tool kit and some spares, which are generally needed, for such journeys. Money for any of these parts used will be deducted at the end of your trip.
3. DAMAGE RESPONSIBILITY: Internal damages if any would be born by us i.e. if you have a problem with the engine, cylinder head or gearbox and if you are in the radius of 300 to 500kms we will try to provide you with replacement bike. The cost of transportation for replacing the bike will be charged to you on actual cost basis. If you are out of reach then you will have to get the repair done from a skilled mechanic, have an estimate and inform us. Once we agree on the expenses you can go ahead with the repair job and we then reimburse you the money on your return.
However, repair and maintenance such as broken control cables, burnt out bulbs and electrical parts, oil seals, topping up engine oil, flat tires, burnt clutch plates will be borne by you.
You will be also liable for any external damages like broken indicators, damaged wheel rims, bent
front forks, any major dents caused due to some fall etc. the expenses of these will be taken on actual cost basis. However Small dents, scratches to the body parts will be tolerable and wouldn’t be charged.
4. INSURANCE: Our bikes are all comprehensively insured, we will make a rental agreement between us this contract is not to be shown to anybody else.
We are not actually allowed to rent bike with private registration numbers. Therefore, we will show that you are our friend and are borrowing the motorcycle for your visit in India. It is very important for you to carry your international driving license, as without this we wont be able to provide any services. While riding if you have an accident and if it causes serious injuries to the third party, your first priority should be to the settle the matter by paying compensation in cash rupees, if this does not materialize then it becomes a police case, where you are taken in custody and the motorcycle is impounded. In this case you will have to produce to the police the original registration book of the bike, original insurance and your international driving license. All this paper work will help us to deal with third party liabilities, which will be then involve the insurance company with whom the bike has been insured with. After receiving the necessary information from you, we will send our shop representative to the concerned place where he will engage lawyer, complete the formalities with the police and try his best to get you out of the custody. All these expenses incurred in following this procedure will have to be borne by you.
If the third party is not so seriously injured then it will be better to compensate at the spot without involving the police and the court.
For any slight injury the compensation can be Rs.500 to 1000
For any broken bones compensation can be Rs.5000 to 25000
In case of mis happening where a bike is badly damaged or stolen you will have to immediately inform us and we will let you know the best possible way to deal with the matter in which we will try to involve the insurance company for compensation.
In the event in which the bike gets stolen or damaged, will then be charged to you on actual cost basis. We will then file the case with insurance company for compensation, which may easily take 3-6 months to materialize, and once this has been done we will reimburse the same to you in your country.
5. SECURITY DEPOSIT:
1. We require a refundable cash deposit of 500US$, or 400 in Euro, or 300 GBP or cash of Rs. 20000/-.
2. Return International Air tickets as deposit, which will return to you after completion of your trip.
3. To save time please bring photocopies of your passport, visa page, picture page, and your valid International and National driving license.
One of our shop representatives will accompany you to a big parking area where there is no traffic at all. There he will explain to you the general features of the bike and then after this you can test ride the bike around this area till the time you are satisfied with the handling of the motorbike, specially getting used to the opposite side gear shift and foot breaks. Other important thing for you to master in this short period will be kick starting the motor.
Then he will bring you to our shop and explain you all the general procedure of checking the bike required every 500kms. Our skilled mechanic will also explain you the methods of replacing of broken clutch cables, accelerator cable, replacing flat tyres, topping up engine oil, electrical problems etc. and then there after we can sought out all the formalities of paper work regarding rental of bikes. Please keep in mind all this will take you one full day. We will suggest you to start you journey the next day, at dawn.
Please make sure to bring around proper riding gear good shoes, helmet, gloves etc… In case of any mishappening we would require your contact person address, phone no, and address.
